There are many causes of grief, and many forms. The Patterson Center is here to help you deal with and work through a difficult time in your life. We will provide information about grief and the grief process. We will also provide a way for you to work through the issues surrounding your loss, be it the death of a loved one, a divorce, loss of a job, loss of a beloved pet, whatever situation brings you to our office. We will teach you the skills and techniques of reflective thought, personal management, problem resolution, and self-healing.

Currently, a research study on PARENTAL GRIEF is being conducted. I am looking for participants who are willing to share their experiences in order to help others. I am looking for two sets of parents. 1) Parent's who have had a child die between the ages of birth and 21 years old, and 2) parent's of children diagnosed with a disability between the ages of birth and 21 years old. Parental Grief has no age limits, but in order to set parameters for the study birth to 21 years of age was selected.
